On the 10th November 2018. Around 35 photographers descended on the beautiful Leasowes Park.
The Leasowes was designed by the poet William Shenstone between 1743 and 1763.
It is counted among most important landscapes created of the 18th century and is being restored to its former glory with the help of “Friends of Leasowes”. It is a fantastic location that is right in the heart of the Black Country.
This is the first instameet I had helped arrange and organise as part of the admin team. I was quiet nervous about how it would all go. Turned out I didn’t need to worry!
The autumn colours were out in full swing and the instameet was something a little different. We had 3 sessions running. 2 portrait sessions with models and an autumnal walk all hosted by members of our IGERS Black Country team.
We had two great models Trinity and Deb. Both of whom came with ideal looks for their shoots. Trinity went for autumnal “cosy” portraits. Whilst Deb went for some fairy tale style portraits with her red cloak and gemstone apple!
The autumnal walk group were led round by the admin team (Lisa, Simon and Steve) whilst Abi led the fairy tale shoot and I led the autumnal shoot.
I had arranged for Trinity to attend I loved having another opportunity to work with such a lovely model – my favourite shots of mine are below:
If you haven’t explored IGERS Black Country (@igersblackcountry) on Instagram you should definitely give us a follow here.
